Alfalfa, Black current leaves, Chamomile, Horsetail, Nettles

( Medicago sative, Ribes nigrum, Matricaria chamomilla, Equiseteum arvense, Urtica dioica.) The nettles are earthy and nutrious tasting, the Chamomile adds flowery top end flavour and the Blackcurrent leaves have a fresh, summery flavour. Horsetail and alfalfa are fairly neutral flavoured full of enhancing nutrient absorbsion abilities

This is a tea to support a healthy calcium absorbsion from the Silica in Horsetail, Nettles and Chamomile flowers. Muscle building help is from Alfalfa. It can be drunk anytime of day to help maintain good nutritional status.

This is a pleasant tea for every day use. The directions on the label are for non medicinal use. The small quantities used means that, like culinary herbs, they will not interfer with doctor’s medications such as sleeping pills or Warfarin. At this strengh the tea is suitable for children.

The herbs can be re used to get a second brew that is slightly less strong.

Medicinal dose is 25g to 500ml of boiling water. Cover and infuse for 2-5 minutes. Strain and drink in 3 wineglassful size doses over 1 day. They can be reused for day 2 and day 3 if kept in the fridge between brews and strained from the tea to store seperately. This is a high dose and may make relaxing medicines stronger. If taking multiple medications or you have a serious health condition consult a herbalist before using medicinal doses.
