Description
Tinctures are a convient way to take strong tasting herbs. The herbal properties are extracted in to ethanol alcohol. The alcohol strengh is adjusted for each herb to make the best extraction. We use between 20% to 90% alcohol strengh.
Dose is 5ml (1 teaspoon) in water or juice 2 or 3 times a day.
Tinctures have a long shelf life. They are best stored in a cool, dark place but do not need to be in the fridge.
Dandelion root, Devil’s Claw root, Ginger root, Nettle leaves, Prickley Ash Bark
(Taraxacum officinalis, Harpagophytum procumbens, Zinigiber officinalis, Urtica dioica, Zanthoxyllum americarnum)
This is a balancer for maintaining normal blood circulation and kidney cleansing of uric acid. This may help reduce aches and pains in the joints or sites of previous injuries. It is best taken long term.
Some of these herbs are blood thinners so not to be taken with Warfarin. If you are taking multiple medications or have a serious health condition consult a herbalist before using.
