Myrhh tincture

Description

Note: To remove dropper lid, pull off outer cap with force. Then untwist inner cap to reveal dropper dispenser.

Tinctures are a convient way to take strong tasting herbs. The herbal properties are extracted in to ethanol alcohol. The alcohol strengh is adjusted for each herb  to make the best extraction. Myrhh needs 90% alcohol to dissolve it as it is a sticky gum from trees.

Tinctures have a long shelf life. They are best stored in a cool, dark place but do not need to be in the fridge.

Myrhh gum tincture in 90% alcohol

(Commiphora molmol in 90% ethanol alcohol)

This is for maintaining normal gums. It has antiseptic qualities and other possible good benefits. A drop or 2 on the toothbrush with toothpaste is for it’s astringent properties, keeping the teeth tight in the gums and anti infection which helps reduce bacteria in plaque. Use regularly. It may have properties around pain receptors.

Not suitable for pregnancy and breast feeding as it can stimulate the womb.

Not suitable when using Warfarin as a blood thinner.

If you are taking multiple medications or have a serious health condition consult a herbalist before using.

Sensitive skin people could have sensitive gums and be irritated by neat tincture. Put a drop or 2 in water and gargle with it instead.
